Abstract / Description of output

Our capacity to investigate the biology of the major human and animal pathogen Staphylococcus aureus has been greatly enhanced by technological advances in transposon mutagenesis. Here we provide a perspective on how these advances may be applied to further our understanding of pathogenesis and antibiotic resistance.
