Abstract

This study was undertaken as part of a larger programme of research: the Leadership in Compassionate Care Programme. The aim of the study was to explore and respond to the perceptions of nurse lecturers in regard to experiences of compassion in the workplace. Findings form this study revealed three themes: leadership, culture, professional and personal development.
