Abstract / Description of output
Several studies have proved the angle dependence of time-shifts and their contributions in imaging the time-lapse velocity changes, using extended 3D tomography or 4D tomography. Here we present a simple yet robust tomographic method for recovering time-lapse velocity changes, using pre-stack time-shifts under two assumptions of straight ray path assumption and negligible thickness changes. The regridding approach used in this study helps to invert for different angle-stack data without alteration of the inversion algorithm. We also include the application to the North Sea field, where has geomechanically active. The proposed method appears to work well on this dataset.
