Abstract

The Journal of Spanish Language Teaching is an academic journal published by Routledge, indexed in SCOPUS, and which is gradually becoming one of the major reference points for the discipline.
This special issue will include six different articles (3 in English and 3 in Spanish) commissioned to renowned international experts around the topic of Sociolinguistics and its implications and applications to Spanish language teaching context. This project, interdisciplinary in essence, aims to be innovative by filling a gap within the Spanish language teaching scholarly arena.
