Abstract / Description of output

This was a group exhibition for the Aldeburgh Festival, mounted by the Fry Art Gallery Society, Saffron Walden, with whom I have been associated for many years. Exhibited works included those by Arthur Rackham, George Clausen, Eduardo Paolozzi, Ceri Richards, John Piper, Julian Trevelyan, Edward Bawden, Keith Grant; as well as contemporary artists Chloe Cheese, Jonny Hannah, Emily Sutton, Charles Shearer, Ed Klutz, Michelle Thompson. I exhibited two panel paintings, oil on wood and a set of six wood engravings. All of these pieces were recent work, exploring elements of landscape and natural forms;abstracted interior space and structure, and visual narrative. There has been a series of summer exhibitions by the Fry Gallery in Aldeburgh, in which I have been invited to participate.
