Abstract

Feature documentary co-directed with Peter Mettler. We set out to make a different kind of nature film, which looked at how our perception of the "natural" world is affected by our evolving relationship with our senses, collaborating with the writer and environmental philosopher David Abram. We wanted to examine what an animal centric perspective might bring to the documentary form.

The film has now played at the top documentary festivals where it has been nominated for best feature at CPH DOX, Edinburgh Film Festival, Documentary Madrid, and many more. It has received cinema distribution in the UK, Switzerland and is soon also to be distributed in Germany, Canada and the US.
