Abstract / Description of output

Reynaldo Anderson and Tommy Curry examine the relationship Black power has to Black masculinity. In doing so, they open a myriad ways that Black masculinity has presented itself throughout the Black power movement. In addition, the ways that Black masculinity operates in relation to Black power carries distinctly existential characteristics and has been recently distorted. So, this chapter looks into the ways that revolutionary Black maleness wrestles with the many apocalyptic threads that are tethered to Black liberation.
