Abstract
BRASS provides a set of highly customised but user-friendly tools for the anlaysis of circadian rhythms in timeseries data sets, particularly from plant biology (luciferase reporter gene and leaf movement assays). It uses a Microsoft Excel interface written in Visual Basic to run the FFT-NLLS and mFourfit algorithms, calculates summary statistics and plots the results in several formats.
