Abstract / Description of output

Large scale figurative wood carving based on newspaper images of prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. Carved from a single piece of wood over a period of four years, the piece was with coloured with CMYK ink to replicate the qualities of the original newspaper image. The work was selected form over 1,200 works by a panel of international artists and curators and was exhibited at the Museum of European Modern Art in Barcelona.
