Featuring the some of the most respected musicians on the Japanese improvised music scene (Satoko Fujii, Michio Yagi, Tatsuya Yoshida ect etc ) alongside Australian innovator Alistair Spence and Necks bassist Lloyd Swanton plus Jim O'Rourke and English Tuba player Gideon Jukes this album takes MacDonald's approach to new levels. conventionally notated pieces where musicians get the option to play was is written or play anything they want sit alongside conducted improvisations, text based pieces, free improvisations and a pieces devised by the great American trombonist George Lewis for the Glasgow improvisers orchestra.
