Abstract / Description of output
Jane Hyslop and Lucy Roscoe introduce Bumperzine a continuing exploration of collaborative publishing undertaken since 2018 by participants in the event Bookmarks, an Artist’s Book and Zine Fair, held at Edinburgh College of Art (ECA). In the article the authors reflect on the origins of the project, the successes, highlights and surprises of this approach to creative publishing, as well as the challenges and limitations of the process. Finally, they pause to consider what future possibilities the approach offers and how it might be translated into other situations.
