Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The lines from a number of songs come to mind as I contemplate the international progress and issues contained in this special issue, dedicated to the International Association for the Study of Pain 2009 global focus on cancer pain. We have come a long way in many countries, but much of the world's population has been left behind. Following this editorial, we are pleased to publish brief articles summarizing issues and progress in cancer care in 14 countries and regions around the globe. We are grateful to the authors for providing their perspective.
