Abstract

Treatment of chronic hepatitis C patients, infected with genotype 4 with interferon-alpha yielded a limited response. Our aim was to compare the efficacy of interferon-alpha alone and in combination with ribavirin in chronic hepatitis C patients infected with genotype 4.
