Community Engagement: A Critical Guide for Practitioners

Mae Shaw, James Crowther

Research output: Book/ReportOther report

Abstract

Community Engagement is increasingly required of practitioners from a range of practice backgrounds and disciplines, and this publication is designed to encourage a more critical approach. It is made up of 10 Chapters which have been designed to work as one-off freestanding sessions, or as a relatively coherent educational programme. It goes without saying that content should be modified to suit particular situations as required, and that background or supplementary reading can be added as useful. Chapters can be tailored to suit community activists and groups, as appropriate.
