Abstract

Our contribution proposes to pay attention to the way in which an initial training program for French teachers that operates as a second language in a predominantly English-speaking sociolinguistic environment approaches the establishment of professional skills. This program from a university in Western Canada aims to develop the professional skills of future French teachers, as well as to maintain their language skills in French as a second language.
