Composite Interfaces in Mechanical Design

Research output: Book/ReportBook

Abstract / Description of output

Composite Interfaces in Mechanical Design provides fundamental details on the science and engineering of interfaces in fibre reinforced polymer composites. The book takes a broad approach to understanding the role of the interface on the mechanical performance of composite materials by considering core interface disciplines such as adhesion, morphology and chemistry, alongside methods for mechanical characterisation through standardised testing and imaging. This is the first book to focus on composite interfaces in mechanical design. This book is suitable for undergraduate students in tertiary education and research scientists in academia and industry.
