Abstract / Description of output

We report on the case of a patient who could not refrain from speaking incessantly using prompts and cues from the environment, even when she was explicitly asked not to do so, or also when realising that her behaviour was inappropriate or exasperating. We interpret this symptom as a rare manifestation of Environmental Dependency Syndrome within a picture of a dysexecutive syndrome, likely due to fronto-temporal progressive degeneration.
