Conclusion

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract / Description of output

This chapter summarises the findings of our research. It considers the catalytic effect that the Scottish independence referendum had on debates about the governance of the UK. It also contrasts the informed and engaged public, revealed through the survey evidence with the closed and elite-driven change processes in Scotland and Greater Manchester that were explored in the book.
