Abstract

Converge at the Royal Scottish Academy was the second Visual Arts Scotland exhibition with Robbie Bushe as President and lead curator. Converge built on the success of the previous exhibition VAS:T 2015 and further developed its role a a focus for debate on contemporary applied arts and makers in the digital age. Converge 2016 included:

The Cordis Prize for tapestry short list 2016
Graduate Showcase from Scottish Art Colleges focusing on makers.
200 works by members and and non members selected from an open submission of over 1200.
