Abstract

Several genes exhibit copy number variation (CNV), including FCGR3B which encodes the IgG receptor FcγRIIIb. Engagement of Fcγ receptors by IgG complexes may contribute to the pathogenesis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
