The authors apologize for an error made in the ‘Materials and methods’ section of the above paper. The first sentence of ‘Preparation of peptides and protein and the binding assays’ should read: ‘Synthetic peptides corresponding to the trimethyl H3K9 and trimethyl H3K27 regions include residues 1–15 and 15–32, respectively, of H3 tail’.
