Abstract

This interview between Christian Weikop and the artist, gallerist and impresario Richard Demarco (born 1930) took place in Scotland on 14 March 2018. In it, they discuss Demarco’s seminal 1970 exhibition Strategy: Get Arts at the Edinburgh College of Art and his close relationship with Joseph Beuys and other artists, and reflect on the impact that the ‘Celtic world’ had on Beuys’s creativity.
