Abstract
This report deals with two main aspects concerning Britain's intended departure from the European Union: the withdrawal agreement that was negotiated in 2018, and the main options for the future relations of the United Kingdom with the EU, including the possibility of a no-deal Brexit. It reflects in more detail on two substantive aspects that are affected by these developments: the rights of EU27 citizens in the UK and the situation of UK universities post-Brexit.
