Depression Era: A Collective Lens in the Age of Crisis / Ένας συλλογικός φακός στην εποχή της κρίσης

Bilingual volume (English and Greek), edited by Angela Dimitrakaki and Alexander Strecker, on the photo- and art collective Depression Era (Athens 2011-2019) The volume includes archive material and new writings that contextualise on the collective. It is the first volume that documents one of the largest collectives working with the lens in Europe after, and in response to, the 2008 global financial crisis and a rare study of photography and collectivism in the continent in the early 21st century.

This is an independent publication, as the collective wished, made possible by the arts organisation KOLEKTIV8, The publication is funded with a grant from the Hellenic Ministry of Culture, and with the support of an RKEI small grant.
