Abstract
Air separation using the principle of rapid pressure-swing adsorption (pressure swing parametric pumping) was investigated. The effects of bed lengths, particle size, cycle times and air supply pressure on the degree of enrichment were investigated. Results were utilized in the design of an oxygen concentrator suitable for use in neonatal oxygen therapy.
