Abstract / Description of output
In this paper, we introduce the idea of dual-hop spatial modulation (Dh-SM). We look at the possible applications to relaying by reducing the required signal to noise ratio (SNR) or reducing the multi-hop burden at the destination. Initial bit-error-ratio (BER) results comparing the performance of Dh-SM with orthogonal AF and DF are presented where Dh-SM is shown to have up to a 10dB SNR advantage.
