Abstract / Description of output

This introduction to volume 6 issue 3 of Art in Translation comments on significance of five primary source texts, written by eminent art critics, philosophers and art historians between the seventeenth and twentieth century, which have been translated into English for the first time for publication in this issue of Art in Translation. The editorial also highlights the challenges of translating these texts from Dutch, French, German and Italian.
