Abstract
This paper describes a wave-to-wire model of an array of wave energy converters (WECs). Effects of the physical positioning of the WECs and the adjustment of control parameters are presented.
The results obtained from this paper demonstrate the overall effects of storage on real power production and imaginary power control on network voltage profile. Characteristics of the raw mechanical power produced by an array of 48 WECs are also presented. The opportunities for improved network integration are identified and discussed.
