Abstract
Encampment Of Eternal Hope An immersive sculptural environment and reflexive artwork which host’s cross disciplinary practice led research focused on environmental and societal challenges. During COP26 Glasgow the Encampment became a hub for events that aimed to amplify the Indigenous voice, encourage critical thinking and facilitate exchange with local communities, artists and activists about the climate emergency. The Encampment was also presented at the Royal Botanical Gardens where it hosted a series of talks, performances and events in the run up to CO26. This presentation was part of the Edinburgh Science Festival bringing in wide and diverse audiences from across the arts, science, politics social science sector.
