Abstract

People who conducted unworthy scientific work should not be gratified with an eponym. Material and data they collected unethically should not be used. Currently, several eponyms honour physicians and scientists who operated under the Nazi regime carrying out abominably unethical projects. These names should be erased from the scientific lexicon and alternatives labelling should be used. Memories of the victims should be coupled with oblivion of the aggressors.
