Abstract / Description of output

This paper examines an electrical earth-resistance technique for assessing the integrity of concrete piles. The work described is both theoretical and experimental. Electrical analog experiments have been developed to give an insight into electric field distribution around a reinforced concrete pile. Some field tests have been undertaken on cast in situ concrete piles.
