Abstract / Description of output

The methods and results of an experimental investigation into the probability of wave-breaking occurrences are presented along with detailed qualitative breaking classification criteria. An optimisation method is also described and applied for obtaining target spectral moment combinations, subsequently used in the investigation of their effects on wave-breaking probabilities in a controlled wavetank environment.
