Exploring and refining the value of ‘experiential’ learning in higher education

This is a contribution to the University of Edinburgh's (UoE) 'Teaching Matters' blog sharing findings of an empirical study that tested (and confirmed) a framework for Experiential Learning in 4 UoE courses. The factors of the framework are Agency, Authenticity, Continuity, Emotional Engagement, Reflection, and Support. Findings from the study, and implications for practice are discussed.
