Abstract

Feminist reforms in education have profoundly shaped curricula, pedagogy and institutional practices, promoting gender equity and social justice. The reforms have included minimization of patriarchal biases in education, the development of Women's Studies, and the establishment of gender-sensitive teaching methods. Emphasizing intersectionality, feminist educational visions advocate for inclusivity and the empowerment of marginalized groups while challenging traditional hierarchies and stereotypes. Despite internal and external critiques of feminist interventions in education, these efforts have inspired significant advancements, such as increased women's participation in STEM fields, campaigns against gender-based violence, and the emergence of Gender, Queer and Masculinity Studies, broadening academic inquiry.
