Abstract / Description of output
In this paper, we compare two performance modelling techniques: the SAN and
PEPA. The SAN models a system using a graphical representation of its behaviour. Based
on a different approach, PEPA is a formalism which models a system explicitly, describing its
behaviour step by step. We point out their differences and their similitudes, and we show
how to go from one formalism to the other.
