Getting out of selves: An assemblage/ethnography?

Abstract

I am on a stony river beach in the Tarn valley, twenty minutes down from the plateau and the family house at Montjaux we visit each summer, writing to you at a battered wooden picnic table, its stolid legs buried in the ground. It's been a year since we were last at the house, with its view over jagged landscape, its space to write, and its sheep (Wyatt, Gale, Gannon, & Davies, 2011; Gale, Pelias, Russell, Spry, & Wyatt, 2012).
