Abstract
Spectra of coincident charged particles from the reactions induced by a 18 MeV He beam incident on the Li and Li targets were measured. A strong contribution to the He-d spectrum may be interpreted as the He quasi-free scattering off the deuteron in the Li nucleus. This would then be the first observation of the quasi-free scattering of fragile radioactive nuclei on clusters in target nuclei.
