Abstract
The essay collection contains four articles by Bavink and two important secondary literatures on Bavink's theology. The three purposes of this collection of essays, one is to further fill in the lack of one-time literature of Bavinck in the Chinese scholarship; second, to outline the historical background and theological background of Bavinck's Dutch neo-Calvinist theology. This is very important for the study of Bavink; the third and two secondary documents can roughly show the trend of Bavink's research nowadays. Bavink is a catholic theologian.Although he is a theologian in the 19th century, his theology is not limited to the Netherlands in the 19th and early 20th centuries. It can also be related to the Asian church. Kind of possibility.
