Abstract

Liz Adamson’s exhibition Hermit House was shown at Summerhall in Edinburgh from 30th November- 23rd December 2018.

The exhibition Hermit House was made at the invitation of the artist Graeme Todd and Summerhall Visual Arts to showcase new work by Liz Adamson, and to exhibit this in a connected but self- contained gallery space: Meadows 4, alongside Todd’s neighbouring exhibition Street Hermit.

It was the final iteration of a series of 3 exhibitions in the Hermit House series, the previous artists were Norman Shaw and Edward Summerton.

Adamson produced a series of 12 ink, collage and acrylic paintings, 2 polaroid photographs and one sculpture for this exhibition. The show was accompanied by an A5 colour card, AO Full colour poster, 4 page black and white pamphlet and an A4 visitors information sheet
