Abstract

Transfer printing of 450 nm-emitting micro-LED 8×8 arrays onto CMOS platform is reported. The pixels' average optical power density was measured at 4.4 W/cm 2 (50 A/cm 2 ). Sub-nanosecond pulses as well as MHz bandwidth modulation are other modes of operation of the hybrid device.
