Global eHealth experts Claudia Pagliari and Isaac Holeman discuss the workforce needs urgently facing the mHealth sector, with particular reference to Low and Middle Income Countries. They examine challenges for design, strategy, organisational change and evaluation and explain how their online mHealth training programme at the University of Edinburgh aims to foster holistic knowledge and skills which can be translated to improvements in policy, practice and impact.
