Abstract
Editing a volume on current issues related to Luke and Acts has made us acutely aware that we who are currently engaged in scholarship owe much to those who have gone before us. Not only do our theories build on previous ones, but we have each sat at the feet of other scholars and learned from their experiences and train-ing. As a result, we would like to thank the Lukan scholars who have preceded us, to whom we owe much. We would also like to thank all the scholars who have contributed to this volume and assisted in its production.
