Abstract
The article explores a range of memos that Joan Littlewood wrote to Cedric Price, which are distributed in the collections of different institutions. Drawing on Jose Luis Pardo's concept of intimacy, it argues that these are intimate lines that resist translation nor transcription, and thus escape assimilation by media. Crucially, these rhapsodic notes are a site of representation of the Fun Palace, and their agency is to keep the production flowing.
