Abstract

This volume reprints the entire run (8 issues) of 'Labyrinths,' a short-lived journal of literary postmodernism, 2001-2004.

Labyrinths was a short-lived British journal of literary postmodernism (2001-2004) published online by University of Nottingham and edited by Macdonald Daly. Though circulated in print form by Zoilus press it was, in Daly's words, 'capriciously sent or given unbidden to individuals in a manner that ensured that no one other than the publisher possessed all the numbers.' In keeping with its genral anarchic intent ' no request for from any library wishing to acquire the journal was ever honoured.' The individual numbers of Labyrinths were of varying length, its last four issues each given over to a single author, one of them being a collection of verse, another an entire novel. This volume published by Jetstone reprints the entire run of Labyrinths for the first time, and includes Mason's early extracts of 'The Magazine' together with other work, 'Marginalia,' not previously found in print form (p.355- 412, p.144-158)
