Abstract

The article discusses the idea of a "characterography", comparing some of Plato's early dialogues (in Particular the Crito) with Del Mar's "Neil MacCormick: a Life in Politics Philosophy and Law, attempting to shed light on the philosophical relevance of the genre as well as defend the claim that Del Mar books is an exemplar of it.
