Abstract / Description of output

Reviews the legal regimes pertaining to environmental compensation resulting from the effects of wind farms. Considers issues including planning permissions and electricity consents for Scottish wind farm developments, UK statutory compensation, the Danish experience, types of voluntary payments which could be used, the revaluation of council tax, and claims for nuisance.
