Abstract / Description of output
A website with editions and full transcripts of newly-discovered original letters and tracts [c40] from the period of the Marian exile [1553-1558] that greatly influenced the formation of the Church of England and the Church of Scotland. It presents a new interpretation of the Troubles at Frankfort and of the English-speaking exile church and sheds new light on the careers of John Knox and many leading Elizabethan clerics.
