Abstract / Description of output

The exhibition at Goldsmiths’ Hall showcases the Goldsmiths’ Company’s outstanding collection of jewellery and silver by Professor Dorothy Hogg MBE, alongside works by her principal colleagues and selected alumni from Edinburgh College of Art. It is the Goldsmiths’ Company’s contribution to the wider Dorothy Hogg Tree Project, in association with Amanda Game and the Scottish Goldsmiths’ Trust, which celebrates and explores the lasting legacy of Dorothy’s role as Head of the Department of Silversmithing and Jewellery at Edinburgh College of Art from 1985 to 2007. An affiliated study day will be held at the Goldsmiths’ Centre on 15 June 2023, invite to follow.
