Abstract / Description of output

Locating the Flow: Scurvy Salad was a promenade performance in and around the conference venue. Provided with smart phones, participants played a vital part in the sourcing of ingredients to create an anti-scurvy recipe. Working together using a locative media app, the workshop aimed to recover the trading practices of Captain James Cook who, after sailing from Plymouth on the 26th August 1768 in the Endeavour to Tahiti, traded nails, iron tools and cloth with locals for pigs, fruit and coconuts. The event was a cooperative, locative sourcing and making of anti-Scurvy salad.
