Abstract / Description of output
A measurement of the πΆβ’π asymmetry in π·0βπΎ0Sβ’πΎ0S decays is reported, based on a data sample of proton-proton collisions collected by the LHCb experiment from 2015 to 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6ββfbβ1. The flavor of the π·0 candidate is determined using the charge of the π·*Β± meson, from which the decay is required to originate. The π·0βπΎ+β’πΎβ decay is used as a calibration channel. The time-integrated πΆβ’π asymmetry for the π·0βπΎ0
Sβ’πΎ0S mode is measured to be ππΆβ’πβ‘(π·0βπΎ0Sβ’πΎ0S)=(β3.1Β±1.2Β±0.4Β±0.2), where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third is due to the uncertainty on the πΆβ’π asymmetry of the calibration channel. This is the most precise determination of this quantity to date.
